A really good place for a rally or meet up is The Breighton Ferry Inn in Breighton near Selby. Went to 2 little rallies there this year. Landlord is great, nice pub, plenty of parking, camping, play area for kids... right next to the river Derwent with boats moaring. Good facilities with showers 24h. Outside the village of Breighton, so no noise nuicance for any potential neighbours. I love the idea of a en mass ride to somewhere

been there and had a look before, seemed like there were to many mum and dads and kids around but maybe i'd just picked a bad day, the other thing is that Squires is just about 15 miles down the road and we know it's good there

Nowt wrong with Breighton Ferry Inn, you just picked the wrong weekends Bill . Lynn660 is right about venue, but not good to go when heavy rainfall/floods!!!!!! or perhaps school hols!!!!! Good place to go anytime with mates/meet up/camp and have ride out to Squires. Another good time to go is when there's a biker rally on - usually Black Pig run by Scunthorpe based MCC.

Sherry is right about the floods lol last one I went to, the camp site was flooded and we put tents by the road site, well funny though and some tents washed away, but landlord let people stay in conservatory. I know I will be going there again if a rally is on

still not convinced maybe it was school hols. when i was there at a rally and a ride out to Squires is hardly a ride at all, sooner camp at Squires which is free anyway and have a ride out to North Yorkshire Moors or Yorkshire dales

Bill, the whole idea is so that we get lots of events happening so that everyone will get a chance to go where they would like to. All the events are OPTIONAL and no one is expected to go if it's not their cup of tea. I wonder if we could just put down our opinion on where we would like to go, without any criticism of the venue, let people make their own mind up? After all everyone's tastes are different and there are a few factors to consider when making a judgement/opinion about a venue. The particular day(s) we were there may not be typical of what occurs the rest of the time.

I quite fancy Anglesey - a bit like Arran, but wiv decent roads And I still reckon a log cabin or two in the Yorkshire Dales next to a Druids Temple, where we could hav a few beers and watch virgins being sacrificed, has to be considered However, I can foresee one slight problem...

How about a motorcycle tresure hunt could be a few run in diferent areas save folk having to ride to far to join in not to hard to organize small fee to enter say 5 check points a total milage and time for the course. and if we keep it below 100 miles should mean most can enter with the price of fuel now at 1.40 a ltr we have to keep the cost down to help the members with a lower budget. Guzzi Lady XK was thinking of himself

Paintballing or GoKarting? for those members who are fit enough. Paintballing Midlands: http://www.saspaintball.co.uk/ Karting Midlands: http://www.midlandkarting.co.uk/ If you're into the environment and conservation how about a trip to the Eden Project in Cornwall, one payment covers you for a year, so you could go back again, within the year, at no cost to see the bits you missed. Trust me it's not as boring as you may think and well worth the visit, I have some pics in a folder on my profile 'Cornwall 2010' http://www.edenproject.com/ A murder mystery weekend? In various areas, so everyone can take part http://www.itsmurder.co.uk/venues.html http://www.killinggame.co.uk/ http://www.langtrymanor.co.uk/murder-mystery.htm
