i have just read the posts above and you think i'm bloody camping at this one? easter last year was glorious compared to this sub arctic festive season and your saying it was cold!!!!!!!!!
no need to worry about the tide though coz the sea will be frozen.

There's a services at junction 28 on the a12 colchester bypass.... might be a good place for us to meet up say at lunchtime on the friday, then we can all arrive together. Mic I'll text you more details before hun

just got me ticket for this ice-fest. if it's too cold i'm bloody goin home. what time are you meeting at the services? and where the hell are they? if i can bunk off work i will there. anyone know high tide friday evening? i may have to come up late friday.

Tide times as posted by muddy bum club -

Friday - 1328 hrs
Saturday - 1411 hrs
Sunday - 1453 hrs

All high tides will be well above Strood.

Well done John, thanks for the info OK folks,some of us are meeting at the services at junction 28 on the A12 colchester bypass, aiming to be there between 10.30 - 11.30. We will be leaving at 11.30 sharp (not ellie time ) to get over the strood before high tide!! Anyone not able to make that time but would still like to camp together with us, let me know and we'll make sure we save you a spot
