You can take your car and pitch your tent, but then you have to park at the pub.

Don't think that's right 66, if you remember I had to ferry someone in last year cos they wouldn't let her car on site.

I wasn't there when Jen got there but they allowed her to bring the car in to pack up. I remember you taking her to fetch the car. I thought thats how they did it, I could be wrong though.

Hows Mr Ken any way?

I may be in the car myself if the shoulder is not good enough to ride the bike

I went over in the car last year, n parked in the layby a little further down the road from the main gate, on the opposite side of the road, well before the pub. Lots of other peeps did too.

I was then picked up by the luvverly Russ and JP... You guys thought of everything, me and my gear. Thanks guys you rawk!

Escorted to site by two handsome hunks eh gals ... Bet ya really jealous!

The car was safe all weekend. @PB, i will ask the question of my mate, Martyn, who is part of marshalling team n let ya know.

@divebuddyrob you will no doubt have a spiffing time. splendid company and lashings and lashings of alcoholic beverages.
Great site, a small but perfectly formed rally.

Off the MAG website

Can I bring my car?

DEFINITELY NO! Car passes are strictly only available to disabled bikers in car. No exceptions.

Jen went in her car last year and had to have her gear ferried in on Scorpio's bike, but on the sunday she was allowed on the site with the car to pack her gear away. If in doubt PB, give mag a ring and ask the relevant question. Personally I don't see a problem of allowing you in to drop your gear off as long as you park off site, but that decision has to be left to the organisers.

They are very petty over the car issue at mag rallys I have to send in all the stuff from e-mails and hospitals to get a car pass just to drop my gear off on the site then get there ferry to take my gear across the site

It is a great pity that thieves are now targeting bike rallies.

To let cars in would make their lives so much easier.

As it is, they make do with stealing money and phones.

With cars, they could fill their boots!

Also, chavs with no interest in bikes could turn up, just to party.

Your not wrong there xk as you know the kiss rally went really well and it's all down to knowing who you let on. we keep a very strict policy of members and named guest only no gate tickets and no transfer of tickets, some members moan about this but it's well worth it when you all went home with all your belongings.

As far as i am aware there were no problems at FYP. I heard that there was one turn away during early hours of Saturday morning but dont know if that was true. The MAG marshalls were on top of their game and were very much in evidence throughout the site, without getting in the way.

I think perhaps festival season will (hopefully) distract thieving scum bags from bike rallies for a while! All those of you out there attending any of the numerous festivals enjoy yourselves but stay vigilant, keep your valuables with you and report anything suspicious to the relevant people.

Glastonbury ... Prepare yourselves people, pack ya wellies n rain ponchos! Oh yeah n dont forget inflatable rafts ((wink)). I really do hope it doesnt follow the usual weather pattern folks.

The Yorkshire Pudding Rally - 1 August to 3 August 2014 at Escrick Park Estate, Escrick, North Yorkshire, YO19 6EA.

A small but perfectly formed rally run by MAG. This event is strictly pre-book only, tickets are £20.

There are still tickets available, numbers were increased slightly this year, as it was felt that the new site could cope with a few more beer drinking nutters dancing crazily across the fields. Lol

See the Events Page for full details
