Matt, the three screen views and login requirement does not work.
If when you get the prompt to login you click outside the prompt box it allows you to view the selected scree. You can do this as many times as you wish.
The only areas you can not view if your not logged in are profile photo galleries and chat room. All other areas are completely unrestricted.
Hi mate Sorry for the late reply. Yes that's correct... but it's extremely annoying. You can also disable Javascript but half the site wouldn't work then.
it seems to be working though, people are logging in / registering more now
As a newbie who has just been through the whole 3 pages and u have to register thing, it didn't put me off at all.
It's wasn't so clear as to what u get for 'free' v subs was. And I had to click through to upgrade to find out what it was gonna cost me. I didn't have a Scooby . When I got there it was a pleasant surprise. Great value.
Maybe something in the FAQs might actually encourage sign up.
We try to keep as much "free" as possible and don't want to put anyone off actually joining the site if we say too early in the process that some things require subs. Because it's not necessary to pay subs and have a full account and we at least want them to have a look first.
Recently I changed the site to make the forums also free for everyone to use (up to 3 months after joining). I still need to communicate this though to everyone via PM.
