Fairly local for me although the village is worth a visit the campsites poorly run by Margret the owner. Can get very busy and noisey usually over crowded just saying how it is.
On the contrary Dinger,we've been going there many years both on bikes and camping as a family and have never had a bad stay.Yes it can get busy as you would expect in a popular location, however there's usually enough space for everyone and after half ten in the evening it's usually only the sound of the cattle or sheep you can hear..
I've just had confirmation of our booking back from High Laning campsite, they will allocate a space for us which is handy. I'm planning to be over mid afternoon Friday... so just look out for whichever bike I'm on!
Three weeks to go! You might have noticed this event has disappeared off the calendar month view due to a software bug, admin are looking into it. Dent is still on and you can get to the page from the year view, the front page or https://www.bikermatch.co.uk/events/event.asp?event_id=6181
Hope the weather starts to improve a bit Steve or this will be a chilly weekend. Perhaps we should hire a mini marquee and everyone snuggle up together in the spirit of camaraderie and joie de Vive?
So who is definitely planning on attending this next weekend? Could be the start of lots of fun events this biking year. Come on people get your names down 👍👍🏍🏍
Well I am (but I've got to). Hopefully someone else will turn up.... It never looks good when I'm drinking, giggling and talking to myself! I plan to be there and set up mid-afternoon.
Well at least there will be 2 of us then Steve as I cannot have you locked up for talking and giggling to yourself... I can make it for mid afternoon too. See you there 👍

Ok finally put my name down (last minute as usual for me)! Should also be arriving Friday and really looking forward to this as the start of hopefully many biking miles this year :)
