Had check up appointment yesterday. Consultant is happy with my progress and has Given me Some more exercises to do. Am Allowed to dispense with crutches a little more (only been using them outside, beyond my drive & patio anyways). can just use 1 if appropriate and I am able to start to do more weight bearing, Its just Limited by any discomfort/ pain I get.
I have Clinical permission to try to drive my car from march. Proviso is that I am in full control. Obviously as a biker, I know just how distracting any discomfort or pain can be. Junctions and slow traffic likely be the worse bits as it's my clutch foot.....
Been good and doing my exercises.
Can feel a definite improvement in one especially, the toe pull ups which I struggled with originally, they are similar to changing up a gear on a bike so I'm pleased about that. 😅
Tried getting a shoe on, not a chance........yet! Slowly does it!
