I've lived all over the Southern half of England and recently in Wales but now in Lincolnshire where I'd previously lived for 8 years and like it here. Distance isn't a problem that's what my bikes for lol
Not everyone can travel I have no transport and as I suffer with anxiety I will not meet anyone that lives past Cardiff and since I've been stood up in the past I would not recommend any women to go out of their way which is miles away
So it seems KC. I guess there are folk who are looking for a miracle to happen very quickly and don't have the time nor patience to wait and see who they may meet.
I must admit that the person who stood someone up, without letting them know they weren't going be there, is in my opinion, not worth worrying about. They are the lowest of the low.
If you are lucky enough to meet the right person, then travel you will. I've travelled from Yorkshire to Kent (and vice versa), also met half way to spend time together. Distance is only a problem if you make it. We have done rallies and spur of the moment meets/rideouts. Breaks away in Scotland etc.
Luckily things have changed slightly, the distance has now roughly halved. 👍🏻😀
I know of others on here who also have long distance relationships and they too make it work.
Distance doesn't seem to matter to some, In the last month one spammer has been trying to get on the site, as covered nearly 800 miles moving around the country from London up to the Midlands, then out west back to the home counties returning to the south west and now in a good place for a pork pie. Where will her adventures take her next? At the rate she's moving about she will cover more miles than most over the next year, She may even become the new girl next door (but only for a few days)
