Best tip is to make sure every item has more than one use. I'd use one of the panniers as a seat. Tent strapped over the pillion seat; with panniers, it was not even as wide as them. Plan on washing clothes and shop on the lightweight trekking campsites for small items. It's a good challenge and pretty enjoyable.
Hi all, I've just confirmed dates for this year's camping in Llandovery , it's the second weekend of June . (10th to 12th) hoping we get the same weather as we had last year. Just a quick heads up . I just came back from the Owls nest in Llandovery and there's a major pedalist road event " women s tour of wales" on the 10th June. Signs all over the place from Llandovery Llangadog and over the Black's. Just be aware there's gonna be a load of women in lycra...
How to find us If approaching eastward on A40, from Carmarthen/Llandeilo: When in Llandovery you will pass the railway station and crossing. In 70 yards turn right on a sharp left bend. After 300 yards turn right into Heol Plughafen. Follow the road and bear left. If approaching westward on A40, from Brecon/Sennybridge: Go through Llandovery town centre. Pass The Castle Hotel and turn left at the sharp right hand bend. After 300 yards turn right into Heol Plughafen. Follow the road and bear left

We called into the site today, and we are allowed gazebos if we wish at no extra cost, (I may add here, keep sensible spacing between tents)
fees £10 per tent per two people per night
Camper vans with electric hook up £17 without electric £14 If you're in a tent and want electric hook up, expect to pay more, (not sure how much more)
I have also had printed, some very special wrist bands that I'm sure you'll all appreciate, and, I have ordered the best weather, just hope it gets delivered 😀
