Like Flame, I certainly did not feel the earth for me! I was away with the fairies...after having had no sleep for a couple of weeks, I was fast asleep and so were my three girls! LOL!
Poor Flame and BC lol
Just heard there could be aftershocks for up to 48hrs after... hold on to your bedposts ppl !!
Yeh Kwak, Wombwell only a few miles from me.
19 yr old lad in bed a huge piece of chimney stack fell through the roof onto his pelvis !!
His next door neighbour was on his computer and a huge piece of masonary fell through his bedroom ceiling... Scarey stuff eh?
Qoute from local DJ: I thought my heating was playing up,,i went downstairs to turn it off,,, ahhh instantly stopped; hehe
Lol Pete.... want me n DC to shake yout tent, see if we can recreate the effect?
Freaky stuff eh? Good job it was at night really, could've been alot worse with all that masonary falling about.
Well.... the earth certainly moved for me !!!
Hope everyone's ok ...keep safe X
Hi y'all, that tremor scared the sh*t out of me! Thought i'd dreamt it when i got up this morn til my mate text me to ask if i felt it!
Thought my luck was in til i realised it really was the earth moving
I am afraid it was all my fault.
I've been loosing weight over the last four months, so have been eating a high fruit, high fibre diet. I had been warned that one of the side effects was possible flatulence and until about ten to one last night I thought I was lucky.
I was wrong. Jeez, was I wrong!! Four months worth in thirty seconds wrong!!!
I am happy to say I am fine now, although it was a good four hours before it was safe to re-enter my bedroom!
Unfortunately, the same can not be said for my next door neighbour who works very late and was just coming home. My bedroom window was open you see and he smokes ........ oh dear!
