I regularly beat myself up about this but I am still sure it was the best thing to do at the time.

I received an official warning for placing my arm around a little girl's shoulders to give her some comfort after dressing her grazed knee, when I was working in a school... broke my bloody heart it did...
We're going to end up with a whole generation of people who think that ANY touching whatsoever is evil and wrong...
Homo Sapiens has always comforted and reassured through touch... it's what makes us worth preserving as a species - compassion, empathy and concern for others...
lol - just wrote a 10 minute essay in reply to Wannabe but fate decided to erase it... maybe a good thing too (should have gone in the Rant forum!)
