Congrrats Rose, like blues said you have had your share of bad things now lets hope this opens the door to lots more good things in your life. Just take care out there on what ever bike you decide to move up to and don't forget you never stop learning so just be careful out there.

Thanks CG and Blues for that! I hope so too......

Thank you everyone for the lovely comments....I am not going to do anything stupid to have it all taken away....waited 26yrs for this...will be sensible..going to get another bike, get used to it and then start doing as many advanced courses as possible to make me an even better safer rider...cos I want to enjoy biking safely for the next 26yrs or more!

Glad Im giving others inspiration...You will get there Moon together with Shell, Jansky and others...you will be better safer riders under this new instruction....Im very very glad Ive gone through this....

Ian, what who is helping me find another bike? Got no one lined up dear friend...will be looking after number 1 and sorting it out myself....but if I do need assistance I will ring ...same with anyone else ....if I need a second opinion I will not be afraid to ask....anyway Ive still not seen your Blackbird....think its a figment of your imagination LOL...you are too busy to help my friend !!! LOL

Always good to see another biker on the road! makes you think though, when I did my test in the dim and distant past, you only had to turn up on time to pass! You had to ride around the block and the tester bloke would jump out from behind a tree for the emergency stop

what who is helping me find another bike? Erm, the one you mentioned on page 1 who's taking you round the dealers next week to check out bikes? Possibly?!

Always remember , a powerful bike accelerates much quicker than it stops and there's nothing wrong with scaling up slowly..a step at a time .

Well Done Rose! I'm sure it goes without saying, but don't rush into buying anything without careful consideration, take it easy and enjoy the freedom of no L plates!

Thanks Dun..would love to...so when can we arrange the test ride?

Kaz, dont worry Ive been sitting on bikes all day....trying them out just for size at the moment...got to wait for licence to come back before I can test ride any....they have to see original documents..according to the dealer I went to today...

The Lplates came off immediately..amazing noone hassled me on the way back home Friday! It does look like a 1100 Varadero...until you get close and listen to it! LOL....Mini V looks naked lol...Ive not ridden since Friday as I have not had a minute to...but cant wait to again....

So where's your heart and gut pulling you so far? If you're anything like me, not necessarily in the same direction! I was advised by a good friend to go with what I really wanted rather than settling for what I thought I should have as I'd only be unhappy and wishing I had the other bike. Are you open to anything or wanting to stick with a particular manufacturer?
