Thanks Matt. Yes, via DatingDirect.co.uk.
I've also sent a Contact Us message about MatchMaker and it's search results. Won't duplicate what I said here, but look forward to hearing your reply.
Triumphant - not heard of Gumtree, though I'm sure I've been stuck up one on several occasions in the past (and I don't mean anything dirty either!).
I've used a couple internet dating sites before and like Berk_biker, I've met a few lasses but nothing that turned out to be more permanent. I sometimes wonder "is it me" or "what am I doing wrong?" But I guess you sometimes just have to wait and keep looking.
Hi Speedy, Have been using them on and off for quite sometime now. Made loads of mates out of it but still not found the right lady yet. I know of people who have though, it is just a question of being in the right place at the right time. Cyberwise that is....lol So, ask away, what do you want to know??
I think one of the main things is to "get in there first" if you like. They say that people using dating sites often find someone within 3 months if they are persistant. In fact, some of the larger sites offer a money-back guarentee if you dont find someone within 6 months!
Best thing to do, is set up a MatchMaker alert in your account. This way, you will be notified of all new members that fit your criteria, and you can then "get in there first" as they say.
Take it easy folks, and ride safe. Good luck to you all on Biker Match
Tried the internet dating twice......problem is it isn't heavily populated here... so the first time looked promising.......ended up being my neighbours wife!!!!!!!!!!! OMG
If by "here" you mean BikerMatch, please remember that the site has only been online for 1 month. We already have lots of members, and more are joining each day. We have around 30 members join each day, and the best way to see the new members is to create a MatchMaker alert in your account. This way you will be emailed new profiles.
Take care

take care from milly xxxxx
Cheers for the offer of help, its always more than appreciated.
When there are enough members, I will look at hiring some places for events. However, I've already spent thousands advertising BikerMatch and have only made back a few dozen pounds on subscriptions.
The best help any of you can give at the moment, is to find people here that you like and then subscribe to the site and get chatting to them. The running costs currently outweight the money I am taking in unfortunately, so events are out of the question for now unless anyone would like to host/organise one?
Thanks again, keep posting and keep searching on Biker Match
Aww cheers hun, really appreciate it. Thanks for the kind words too. I spent so long tearing my hair out on the site, when things weren't working as they should be. Still end up finding myself fixing faults all the site, just need people to point them out.
I, ve tried the internet dating thingy, but all I get is young russian birds after mi money(some chance), young thia birds after a uk passport (huh) and young chinese birds talking bollocks.
PS: see the forum topic about not giving out ur email address in PMs. I try and keep my eyes open for abuse and people using the website to lure in vulnerable people.
Keep ur wits about u folks, and if u are ever unsure about ANYTHING then just drop me a PM or email!
this internet dating is ok if u do it the rite way talk to sumone for awhile build up a freinship and agree to met them sumwhere neautral,ya cant decide if they rite for u until u meet face to face just cuz u get on on here dont mean ya will face to face and everybody looks dif in reality too pics can lie i know i tried it a few times and they turned out to b completely dif in reality,so if u do meet b carful dont giv em ur home addy untill uve meet and are sure this is a warning to all men ther are lots of dangerous women out ther haha!!!!!! no serious do it av fun just b careful x
from my experience of internet (i would say dating, however i often use it to meet like minded people) sites have never really lead to much.
i think this site is an awesome idea though.. bikers 4 bikers i guess.. good stuff, i have arranged to meet up with people over the net b4.. its a bit more dodgy for women more than men, however i make sure i see a photo 1st.. (here comes the honesty)
good thing about being a biker (tinted visors help with this one) is that you can arrange to meet, turn up on the bike, check out who your meeting, and if it dont look o good, go straight past, and 10 mins later, txt em saying you cant make it... it dont sound like the nice thing to do.. but it can get ya outta some situations.
when there are more than 10 peeps within 100miles from me with pics, i'll sign up fully..
