I know of a few people who have had swine flu parties just so that they can catch it and get it out the way.

see tramps were nickin the stuff from hospitals waterin it down an drinkin the stuff!! We have to keep it out of public areas now because of this and are now waiting for foam wash to arrive at the hospital where I work. I was told last week to contact the NHS helpline as my boss thought I had swine flu as I had all the symptoms but I just sweated it out for three days with paracetemol.

Think I might have swine flu - my arm has come out in a nasty rasher.... When the papers here speak of a predicted 650 Scots dying a day from swine flu and the advice to young couples is to put off having children until the epidemic or pandemic or whatever the groovy thing to call it is now passes, then it quickly falls off my credibility scale... (another case of slow news day...)

Think its more a case of it getting passed by touching things that might be contaminated... in that case hope 2010 goes fast. Roll on 2011

well i remember people sayin it cant be transmitted person to person were lucky its mild![at the moment] but newspapers do crank up the volume a bit! maybe the millions who died worldwide in 1918 from the flu epidemic[brought over by yank soldiers apparently!] werent as robust as we are now! l

Know a couple of people who have but are on the mend now. Not worried about really. As some bloke on the radio said,he's still waiting for the outbreak of bird flu,BSE,foot and mouth and still waiting for his computer to crash from the turn of the century.
