Trust me excalibur my claws rarely come out, i tend to find a nice little spot, lick my wounds and curl up...
And Ian, checking the xrated posts.... i don't think so... yr the worst one that Matt could give the job to.... lol
I am quite flexible in real life about stuff like that. I have to be, I work mostly with men
I dont have a problem with any swear word, I just moderate the forums to the agreed rules.
Sorry Boss, the buck has been passed back
I have no problems with it...I get plenty of jokes sent to my mobile phone on a daily basis and if I dont like them I just erase them...and most of them gets passed onto my friends...I cannot see the harm in this thread...so long as the heading is clear...if people look and are offended then they shouldnt look in the first place!
Ian moderator of a naughty jokes thread...ERRRRRRRRRRRRMMMM
Ian - do you just want to use 'swear words' in full or do you want to post jokes on an adult/possibly offensive subject?
If it is the former then I can't really see the difference between replacing certain vowels with asterisks or typing the 'swear word' out in full - the brain reads it the same.
If it is the latter, then wasn't a similar Naughty Jokes thread started a while back by Scary?
i dont know re the old thread teecee.....as i have not been a member for too long, but i just feel rather than having to miss out letters and perhaps holding back on ruder jokes, it would save any one being offended, as they will be in one thread with a warning on, so hopefully no one would be offended by accident !!!
this is why the thread needs to be there.a warning....so people have the choice whether to open the thread, if offended they dont need to as there ie a x rated warning, plus as someone who is on everyday, i have offered to vet the jokes/messages on the thread
I'm in the minority here (nowt new there then) I don't see the attraction for strong language in print (typed into forum, in text messages etc) or the attraction to x rated jokes. Sometimes it just seems like porn and not even funny.
