WN - I twisted me knee attempting to get on the pillion of an R1 which was fully loaded with camping gear for the Farmyard Rally - I had a massive & very heavy rucksack on me back & being the shortarse that I am - when I attempted to get on the pillion, my knee gave way!
ALL THE BEST!! Stella..thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery so you can get back on that bike next year and join us girlies on the big bikes...WAAA HOOOO!!! x
Lol @ max. I have a bm sister lol. Ok have had the op. 75% of my anterior crutiate ligament has been torn. Will have to go for specialist physio to try to get it to re attatch. Failing that then it's reconstruction surgery!! Have also been kept in overnight as they didn't want me being on my own overnight. So be warned when climbing on the pillion with a heavy rucksack on....... Don't do it !! Lol
It is our Red Cross chrimbo meal tonight. one of your members is a consultant orthopedic surgeon. you have just become conversation topic. will keep you nice and anonymous. you shall be refered to as Edith.
Aww Stella typical init, go into hospital and come out with more than you went in with?
I hope your knee heals soon.
The flu symptoms go but the virus can stay around for weeks/months leaving you tired and weak so be good to yourself and rest up as much as possible. No point overdoing things. I'd have to squish ya if ya do. lol
Hope to see you again sometime in the near future.
