looks good to me rossi. the open fires look ok for cooking on toast on a stick lovely count me in girls and boys by the way can't cook good washer up though
I have no idea re; sausages, drobess !!! As for cooking your tea Rossi, you will have to ask as the thread develops...... no idea about Lime or Ghostie maybe tomorrow night you may have your chef
Camping barns are great . . . remind me of Backpackers hostels abroad, and if you can get all beds in one booked they make a brilliant party place! . . . As for cooking, some of the lakeland ones have bbq's so men WILL cook (try and stop them!), but the communal areas/kitchens are all together so anybody and everybody can chip in. . . Ill keep an eye on this one and see what dates you lot set. Got a few things going on this year, but if the dates are right, I'd be interested.
Is everyone cool with that w/end of 13th - 14th March?
It looks like Borrowdale will be our best bet for capacity and overflow camping facilities. The pub is really close too!!! tee hee
I'll wait for feedback from this, then post it on events.
Btw, if u stay in the camping barn, it's money up front for a capacity of 12 people @ £7 a night each I think, plus electric meter costs.
Numbers above 12 will need to camp, but can pay on the w/end, so if you definitely know you are coming, you can stay in the barn and pay up front. If you are not sure, then it may be best to hang fire until the booking is secured and we know we have filled the barn to capacity. You can then camp if you decide to come. The barn needs to be full before camping can be offered though. The camping field is adjacent to the barn and shares all facilities.
