The carb on a Harley is part of the system that allows the engine to produce noise, smoke and vibration without producing significant amounts of that useless horsepower stuff.

maybe so, but it's still a 100 years ago.... LC asked : The first Harley Davidson motorcycle was built in 1903, what strange object was used for the carburetor???
