I dont mind football. At least the world cup attracts genuine supporters. I dont think i've ever met anyone who doesnt want their native country to do well. Unlike Man United who have supporters that don't even know where Manchester is!
I'm in it for the social aspect, goin to the pubs with my mates and Laura watching it. Only really follow the international games though nowadays, though I used to support Rochdale and never missed a game. Small, local team with a family atmosphere... none of that premiership crap
I used to watch Stockport County in my 'yoof' was a right good laugh in those days and good afternoon out ...oh and yes people on the green stuff messing about !!!!
I have no interest whatsoever in football but why shouldn't Matt, or anyone else, post about it. It may be a bike site and we may be bikers but I like to think there's more to talk about than just bikes.
It's my site, and I'll post if i want to... post if I want to. Doo doo doo doo if i post on here too, doo pi doo pi doo!
Ooo that brought back memories of an old song 'It's my party' (and I'll cry if I want to)
Hey Matt, ya can't expect us not to post crap if you are
Of course there's nothing wrong with having a football thread on a bikers forum.
People who are not into football do not need to access that thread.
Result = Everyone happy (I think!)
