Bill which way you travelling to this event from doon your way,Im north of Newcastle next to Morpeth and will be running up the Wooler road or i can nip over to the Jedburgh rd that runs from Newcastle via airport if anyone going in on those roads i can meet up with you's on the friday. If not i'll just be a lonley likkle wolf making my own way up those scary roads looking out for miss redridinghood whom just loves to jump out of the woods at me in her scary red Kilt n red hair n sideburns (red)n hairy red knees playing red bagpipes.....im all afeared the noo!!!!

Was going to come up to yours in van and park it up and continue on bike but thats all changed now so A697 sounds fine to me, could meet you at Morpeth about 11, should't take more then an hour from there. told Doa Boy i'd meet him at Kelso about 12. hows that sound.
If any one else wants to join up enroute i'm now thinking of picking up the A19 at Middlesbrough and maybe taking the A177 over to the A167 and than on to the A1 to get past Newcastle and on to Morpeth
That sounds cushtie to me Bill (is that even a word),just after you take the slip road off the a1 for Wooler theres a big lay by on the right about 400yds,used to be a snack van in there, nice bacon not sure if still there tho,ill try to find out.Ill be there for the 11th hour on the dot(well b4 actualy if they do a nice breaky)If you reach the Garden Centre on the left yav past it!I'll pm ya me number i can't remember if id given you it at Farmyard,
