@Blade_rider Busted! Not sure which bit it is now, I think its just north of Shoreham ??? But theres a tunnel and if you go through it, you can't see the road the other side, bit scary actually. But at about 3am there is zilch about, even fat cops. Once again, can't remember exactly where, but theres a small roundabout above the road where you can see both ways and the slip road goes downhill onto the A27. Doesn't take long to get to speed.

sitting on my gpz900r 150 on the A40 south of Ross on wye back in the days before speed cameras and before i realised i was only gonna lose my licence, my life or both. so i slowed down haven't been above 120 since except in a plane.
my biking has never been about been better than others or trying to kill myself. peer pressure will end quite a few lives next summer.
56mph downhill on mountain bike during coast 2 coast
(honister pass laughing after the climb up the 1st side)
35 mph down wind landing a paraglider in annecy after only just making it across lake, now thats a way to see how fast your legs really will go he he .

Was going for 150 but bottled it ………
DT.. Concorde, I would loved to have been on gorgeous plane !!
@GT Fme!! Didn't cost me a penny either! Free flight , courtesy of my Brother. Strange thing, actually not that strange. The interior looked like a clean version of a British Rail first class, if you can ever remember those, lol.
(In my best Huggy Bear voice) Word on the street is, that Concorde could be making a comeback. Guess there are alot of 'big-boys' missing meetings the other side of the Pond.
Funny little fact. During the yuppy era (spits) all these so called VIPs that used concorde would park up in Heathrow and put the alarms on their cars, no problem there. On take off, every car in the car park which had an alarm would go off. Roll on 12+ hours.....flat battery. Some of the BA ground crews made alotta money hehehe
@DT, yes i think i know the bit of road you mean
My SP's a bit like concorde it sets car alarms off at 100 paces
But i never ride at more than the speed limit, probably shouldn't be discussing speeding on the interweb but i've seen 150+ quite often,
been on back of busa taking corners on mountain road iom at 90mph that was scarey coz all ya see over corner is a drop!!! after that not much phased me!!! but i think about 140 or more on back in straight line like.. riding meself i dont feel comfortable much over 100 must admit and at mo my harley is on a 50mph curfew till she broke in proper!!! not so much about speed for me as neck cant hack it and prefer to enjoy the ride and views.... not on bike for adrenalin kicks...
