getting back to the subject after a bo**cking, i think Jp is right, if i rode behing someone they would not be able to hear there own bike !! so maybe just all 125cc etc should just ride out together on a designated ride out !!!!

I doubt many learners are listening to their own bike Ian...they are too busy concentrating on the road etc. I know from experience...........

they should be DC.they should be listening to noises re gears, engine etc....but also concentrating on the road too, but if there engine is about to seize and making a almighty noise, i would hope they would hear it and pull over before they scatter there gearbox all over the road !!!

Am sure they would hear that, but as a general rule.....keeping obs is the top priority as i remember. Just my opinion

I agree with DC , the speed will not be an issue & no matter how noisy you can still hear your own engine ... only time I struggled with Pauls bike was when he was right next to me revving

If your at the back as you offered as well Ian ... its harder to hear a bike behind you than the one in front (point for you there too JP , not getting out that easy heheheh )

believe me...you would hear my bike behind you, but i still think the 125cc group would be at ease going out in a group on there own !!

I'll take them, i dont mind...as long as i dont have to travel 2 hours to get to them. I'm quite happy to bimble at the back. DC

Shell, from a learners point of view, not mine, but Mrs mungybear, we feel the idea is fantastic, only problem i can see is if the novice riders have to ride a long way to the meet in the first place. That can be a daunting task in itself. Can i assume there will be several up and down the country? or is it a more local event to you?

The plan is that we will do a few as has been said, if in Brum dont want to have to ride from Manchester to do the pick up lol ... this is just a starter to get peoples ideas and thoughts on it

sorry must have missed that as i was skimming through. I dont mind lending a hand.

It seems to me that there must be hundreds of 125 riders on here, and also a lot of wannabe riders too so i will be watching this thread with interest.

Also!!!.....sorry again....on another site i am a member of, at the top of a thread like this, a list of members going to an event is listed. i think this would help you guys a lot, IMHO

Fantastic idea Shell and think each events team should organise one because mungybear makes a good point. I've PMd you.
