yep just fitted some Rosso Corsa's used fine sandpaper just to get the sheen off then rode about to build up the heat / cooling cycle, but tbh, after 30 miles they felt like they were welded to the tarmac, bl**dy awesome grip level
Interestingly, the tyre place had a notice on the wall about building up slowly a heat/ cooling cycle and not going berserk on new tyres
Racer boys (supersport/stock) get tyres fitted put em on warmers then rag the shite out off them, and they are tyres you can buy for the road! no time to scrub em in watch someone say different.

Racerboys tyres only have to last 20 or 30 odd laps of a circuit, where as the tyres we use on the road and i have used super stickies (e.g Super Corsa Pros & Metz Racetec's etc) on the road and they have to "try" and last a bit more than a few hot laps of Brands or somewhere plus deal with all manner of accumulated road shite and wet tarmac etc,
