lol that right blame me I always get the blame, lmao
i only asked the question lol and it had me down as a month older and at my age every minute counts
The devil made me do it
The final calculation, to convert your date of birth to your age (And it works) is...
DayDiff= (Cint(DateDiff("d", DoB, Today's Date))) +1 age = 0 i=0 do until i = 150 if DayDiff > i*365.25 then age = i end if i=i+1 loop
Hehe, finally done it! This will make sense to any programmies out there. You could try: age = CInt(DateDiff("yyyy",DoB,Now()))
The "yyyy" returns the number of years, which is what you're after, and it lets the function take care of when Leap Years are.
doesnt work, its not accurate. You could be born on 31st December, and on the 1st January it says you are a year old when you're less than 24 hours old.
Trust me, cos i experimented for hours with this damn thing! lol
Ok guys age is but a number and does it realy matter how old you are as long as your enjoying it.
Well thats my pennies worth.
Back to my jungle to get lost lol
Date calculations is one of the bug bares of computers and computing since the first one. One day there will be a simple solution, but till then it's just cludges that have to be implemented. :-(
ur right age is just a no!! it only has the power u give it!! after all a birthday is only another swing around the sun!! matt cudnt u do the birth dates in swings round the sun!!
