Drobess - may be the best option. When we went, queue at the chippies was half the length of the main street
BJ - depends how many stagger out of their tents. All 18 might be pushing it a bit

Yep Aldeburgh does have the best chippy in the area .... been there a few times as well.
One of my friends and I (if they turn up and are not working ) are possibly having a run too Sutton Hoo ( viking site) if anyone is interested.
