It's the first sand racing meeting of the year at Mablethorpe on the Sunday. So I'll be making a detour on the way home if its not wet and cold in which case its stay in the tent as long as possible.
Daft Q but .. has anyone got room for a pilly tart and her gear? I have been told by the docs that i cant drive so soon after having my cast removed and my bike is still in the claws of the insurers :-(
Pilly, it might be short notice but you could try adding your name to the lift request on the event page. One way or another, hope to see you there. Harry, I thought the sand racing started the following week. I may be wrong, but if it's on and I can get out of work on the Sunday I may join you.
I'll be setting off at 5 on Thursday evening. Ferry check-in closes at 7.30pm. I'll be in Hull around 9am Friday morning. Having a bite to eat / brew with a local BMer near Hull who will be riding down with us to the rally site. Aim to be there around lunchtime Friday.
I did consider bringing the support laptops but logistically it's a nightmare to try and cover all eventualities - esp for ride out etc. There will be others and I'll be altering the rota to suit MY wishes for a change. I was really looking forward to *NOT* having any cooking kit Yid!
Looks like I prolly wont be going as I really dont fancy arriving at midnight after driving and riding 500 miles (gotta go to London for a stupid interview at 4.30 pm friday) and putting tent up - have a good one
MIght think about driving up from London though
