Ok so next Kent Meet is to be 10th November in Ashford.
I suggest a ride out if weather is good for fish n chips then back to local pub for a beer,a DVD and a natter. Anyone know if there any footy or somsuch on tv that eve? If not pub will let us watch a DVD there in the side room.
Time? say 2pm? Meet at American Diner at Bybrooke Barn Garden Centre Kennington.

Well, I can do pole, lap, strip, chair (and one other that I'm not telling!) but don't think any will summon sun - sorry.

Andy will be pleased to hear that xj. He was starting to think it wouldn't happen cos of rain, salt on roads, etc, etc - such a positive person!

I'm still coming whatever the weather, still hoping to get a demo bike from work, but the way my luck going i could end up with a vespa lx50.

A push bike would be even worse no engine at all. LOL

I still have my own bike if i can't get a demo bike and there's no way i'm riding a Boris bike for 140 miles to ashford and back.

OK folks sorry not been on much recently, such a lot going on elsewhere in life at moment! We will meet at the Bybrook Garden Centres genuine American roadside diner! Real 40s Americian diner shipped over around ten yrs ago, unfortunately prices are very up to date but we can have a hot drink and a burger if you wish. Waffles.pancakes lush too.... Then if weather favourable off for a ride out of probobaly 2-3hrs as its dark by 5ish. Have in mind fish n chips late afternoon time and then return to Ashford for either pub, or a few beers back at ours and a biking DVD and nibbles until everyone had enough.. Its rememberance Sunday this weekend so there may be a memorial stop en route in the ride out.

Andy, I've sent you another PM, I've added the Think Floyd gig to the Events Calendar, as you have decided to meet at the hall and then decide which eatery to go to from there. Let me know if you still want to cancel it then I can delete it from the calendar. http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/events/event_details.asp?event_id=3791

Just been on the website for Central Theatre Chatham to look at Think Floyd. There are currently quite a few seats available towards the centre back of the stalls (can get a row with 10 seats and a number of seats dotted in rows in front and behind). These seats cost £19.50. I have a feeling that they will need to be booked quite quickly tho, so we need to know what interest there is. Also, looking ahead a bit, I have noticed that The Bootleg Beatles are performing there on 22 March 2013 if anyone would be interested.

I'm up for the think floyd, saw them earlier this year and they are quite good. Anyone want to meet up on the m20 services, maidstone on saturday, and ride down the a20 to the dodgy diner? It's a much better road than the m20. Meet about 9:00/9:15 if you interested

Cor, how long does it take you to get to Ashford via the A20 then xj? Meeting at diner is meant to be about 2ish - by my calculations that means about 41/2-5 hours on A20!!
