I think he was just deciding which one to have first...
I have fried the Fuelpak on my bike so unless I can get a new one sent from the States before Friday then I am guessing we will have to come by Cube if we are coming it all.
We are trying to make it but will only really know on Thursday or Friday (and even then we probably won't need accomodation).
Fingers crossed....
just have both
Well, that's damned generous of you, lass!
Tee-Cee, coming in the car just fer a day sounds pricey, unless u can get a good deal for a day return. P'haps come as a foot passenger, I'm sure there will b enough of us to offer u a pilly.
Will be good if you make it over Tee Cee, I'm from Ayr originally and have only been on the Island a couple of times - it's always something you'll do next year lol. Hope you get your bike sorted out, if not be good to see you whatever mode of transport.
Sun's ooooooot today, Sharky will be on the ferry now - I will speak to him tonight and see if he's happy with everything and put on a wee message for you all. I've got my camping stuff semi ready hehe, couldn't sleep well last night, got up at five as I was well excited
Don't forget there is a wee prize for quirkiest hat
well -im a bit fecked off! not gonna have the bike back so now had to change all my bookings to bring the car.....first available car space 6PM friday night.......not to bad only an extra 46 quid.
P&O was a bigger problem had to rebook for weekend for the car and move my bike booking to dates in May (for my jollies in scotland) what a lot of faffing about! the only good thing is im not heading back to ireland til tuesday teatime so get an extra day to mooch about in ayrshire
on the upside more room for the whisky walking boots and camera gear! lol
while im thinkin its 10 years since i attempted to put up a tent so i hope theres someone gonna help me and not laugh too much at all the cursing!
A wee update: Sharky is on the Island, the camp site is right on the shore and beautiful scenery - BUT very cold so take a hot water bottle for at night and warm clothes. The facilities are lovely with a microwave & fridge, about 7 showers over two blocks and the pub is right next door.
You know how I'm putting up a wee prize for the quirkiest hat, well wondered if you fancied another few daft games to keep us warm. I'll put up prizes just for the giggle of competition. Here's what I thought off: Hurl the Haggis
The Tattie and Spoon Race
Weegh the Welly
Any thoughts folks????
