T'is the lakes they'll charge extra for owt....
Camping is situated in a huge field where you can park vehicle next to tent and pitch where you please facilities are basic solar shower/toilets/washroom drinking water but the village Chapel Stile 5mins walk has numerous pubs, cafes and shops. Also there is a breakfast van that will be on site at weekends.
I might have a pop over cos it's ages since I've had me tent out. It'll give me a chance to play on the A590 too But if the weather is looking pant's I most likely won't else I'll get mildew again. Mildew... commonest form of ailment amongst seasoned bikers.
If its second to last week end in July cud come, fab roads did it at Easter wiv the \Ninja Lou crowd, fab time.... see what pans out about dates ................. :-)
Hoping to do this one if the rain will stop, had enough of the mud at Farmyard!
Dates looking at are Fri 27th July to Sun 29th, camping venue to be decided when get an idea of numbers interested but will try to arrange it in the next week or so. Anyone fancy a weekend camping trip to the Lake District and ride the Kirkstone, Hardknott and Wrynose passes (1 in 3 hills). Alternatively just enjoy some nice roads and scenery and enjoy a nice break. Looking to camp for a couple of nights in Lake District. Like a challenge be it avoiding 4X4's or steep hill climbs Attending Rooster roo ZZRbabe42 kwakgirl (debs) Sweeny Todd XK Vladamir Noddy1 & Hellsgranny
