I`ve got this crazy idea in my head of fulfilling a lifetime, spur-of-the-moment ambition of riding up to Scotland just for the hell of it, so may join you all for this one. That`s if the weather`s kind enough, if the bike behaves itself & if I have enough finances.

If you have the best roads in the UK does that mean there are no potholes, loose gravel or shiney sunken manhole covers?

May just be able to scrape petrol money together. Would have to be a bloody early start for me to be there for 10am. May have to book the monday off too so I can catchup on my sleep after.

Better make a start on checking the bike over & making sure that I get there & back without issues!

Must see if I can load some tunes onto my phone for the journey; now where did I put my Big Country album?
