Hi Y'all
On general geography for all the Churchillian up on Portsdown Hill is pretty central
It's always been biker friendly in my experience, but it might be better as a Summer pub (plenty of tables outside with a gorgeous panoramic view of Pompey lol)
I'm sure Fareham, Wickham & Bishops Waltham will all have some suitable pubs - an e-mail in the right direction should hopefully result in some suggestions
Watch this space...
Sudden memory flash (it's me age !)
The Vintage Inn is that neck of the woods (Wickham/BW) and, again, in my experience was not only biker friendly but more so a biker pub
I do think this also means that on occasion it's been a BIKER pub, if you get my gist...
Hiya don't ask me where Bold Forester is but a friend of mine often goes there lol and says its brilliant the food is good etc etc!!!
Stuey I know the Churchillian been there several times not sure about any other pubs tho only been down here since 2002 and have a reputation for getting lost and not having a bike or any biker friends in Southampton its difficult to meet others!
Oh by the way I am in Lordshill and work in Bitterne Park and would need an idiots guide to get me wherever we meet lol!!!
Hi Mazza! I work in BP 3 days a week too!
Do you know The Vintage Inn, in Shedfield? It was, like Stuey said, a great biker boozer when I was there last, and they used to allow camping there for weekend events too! Might be worth a look for our meet?
I don't know the Churchillian, but it sounds like another decent option!

I don't know Shedfield at all like I say bit of an idiots guide needed for me lol!!! Where in BP I work in the secondary school for my sins NOT A TEACHER THOUGH yukkkkkkkkkkk!!!!
Churchillian is a great place as Stuey says but it is better on a sunny day when you can see out across Pompey

I do the bookkeeping for a retirement home near the Triangle!
Gonna try to get out to the Vintage Inn one evening this week to check it out. Will report back!

Hey guys,
Sorry been away from the computer for a couple of days - too much work arhhh!
I have no idea where any of these pubs are but can prob find them if you give me a postcode - I'd love to meet on the bike, but if anyone wants a lift in the van they are more than welcome, just let me know.
Have a fab day, speak soon,
Xv
Hi guys, just been talking to Stuey, and looks like the Chichillian MAY be the better option, as the Vintage has had a few 'problems' in the past...

Churchillian is more in the middle too, as we have people coming from Bognor, Bordon and So'ton (so far) ... Is everyone cool with that?
Address is: Widley Walk, Portsdown Hill Road, Cosham, PO6 3LS
And has anyone any idea of dates too, cos I'll need to sort out a babysitter in advance!!? xx
Hi all
Just want to point out that I'm not putting the Vintage Inn down
I really don't know it that well, stopped in once for Sunday lunch years ago - no problems
I've been down here on the coast for around 10 years and am picking out things from what I've been told
Please read my comments in that light
Hey guys is it going to be just a meet up and get to know each other or planning a ride? cos I dont have a bike although know somebody who may be persuaded to be around if not I will be driving. How many are up for this then?
Mazza xx
Hi to all down south I am hoping to get down your way later in the year as I have a lot of friend around Southampton/Portmouth area that I have met via the biker babe bike site and have promised to get down to see them for a meet up before the year is out, I will have to let you know when it is.
There is a very big girl bike community down your way and many a time I have wished I lived down there or knew about it when my daughter was based that way.

Any meet down our way would be good - we're still working on our first
And as for us lonely fellas, any introduction to this "big girl biking community" would be most welcome !
That really does sound sleazy, but hey the enter button is calling
