Sorry to say this GBNP but just talking to a mate he had his tent ransacked they found no valuables but shat on his sleeping bag so don't be fooled there still out there looking for easy cash

I beg to differ MAG marshalls were in evidence at ITV, even more so when it became apparent there was an issue, and patrolled the campsite during the night both on foot and with vehicles.
All reported incidents were logged and details fedback to Police, who were also advising people to be vigilant and take care of their belongings, something that SHOULD go without saying really.
Unfortunately the thieving scum hit harder on the Friday evening/night than Saturday so less chance of catching em.
I do think that they took onboard the issues at ITV and provided sufficient information and support at FYP.
Short of each camping area being monitored by an army of marshalls (you would need at least one marshall to 6 tents minimum - an awful lot of voluntary manpower!) I dont know what else they could do. Taking names will not necessarily resolve the issue when an event is run on such a large scale.
Let's not forget that MAG rallies were not the only rallies to be hit by scum!
But mag break there own rules by letting folk walk in after parking down the road then they can wonder around robbing stuff then walk down the road put it in the car and come back for more so if there only carrying a £100.00 its there money and there is not a thing they can get done for
Whether they are in a car or on a bike it really doesnt matter ... If they have got 100 quid of someone elses dosh stuffed in their pocket does it? It cant be proven, unless they were caught in the act.
Afterall, thieves look just like everyone else, they tend not to go around in stripey jumpers, in a mask, with a swag bag on their back.
Also they could well ride bikes, there is nothing to say that all thieving scumbags are solely car drivers or pedestrians ... We all know someone dodgy dont we (not necessarily a mate) ?!
This issue isnt a MAG one, it is happening all over the place at various events and has been for years. Unfortunately these poor excuses for humanity have now targetted our (bikers) territory and our open, honest, worry free little world has been shaken somewhat by their actions. However, with a little forethought n consideration, being vigilant and stepping up to the mark if you see something unusual/suspicious around you,these people will be caught, removed and action taken. Sending a message out there that their behaviour will not be tolerated and it really isnt worth the risk of continuing.

There are still tickets available, numbers were increased slightly this year, as it was felt that the new site could cope with a few more beer drinking nutters dancing crazily across the fields. Lol
Used to be a MAG rally regular ITV/FYP/STC/YP etc when I lived "darn sarf" so moved to Yorkshire on the principal the what I saved in petrol money would pay the mortgage, then I stopped going ;0/
well my Yorkshire pudding tickets arrived today \0/ .
The person coming with me has pulled out so I hope I'm not billy no mates when I get there.

I remember a phone call last year from a bloke asking me to call n get ice cubes (ive been asked for random stuff before but ice cubes was a first!) ...oh yeah n a receptical to hold em in!! I know it was rock n bike but as you are in car this year its your turn surely?!
