Ooh Dizzy , have you managed to snaffle a free bed and breakfast. Sounds like a bargain. Geo , there's plenty going on even if you're sans bike. Still mire than welcome.
Thanks for that and I do hope to be there, like you said I'll be walkin round soakin up the atmosphere ???? even if I just prop the bar up for the 2 days lol. I'm sure I'll find something to keep me occupied ???? Thanks again matey
Geo, good weather =booze and campfire plus bbq plus pub. Bad weather = exactly the same in different ratio. Ride out usually Three or four hours starting lunchtime ish. X
That sounds like just the thing ???? Don't matter what the weathers like, so long as the beers warm, the company is good (not doubting that) and I'm sure I'll have a good few bikes to look at so if I make it there I'll be a happy, happy man
A walk up to see the grey mares tail is always worth the effort, it's a waterfall. And if your feeling enthusiastic their is some good walking on the tops or around the lake. It will be a hoot regardless!
That means we can have a few days of quiet prayer and contemplation.
And each evening we will have a chance to discuss the issues of the day without constant interruption.
Brother Dustin is a quiet and gentle soul who is notoriously kind to animals. Many a time he has kindly volunteered to take stray dogs home for something he calls puppy-buggering. Young sheep have also been subject to his charitable ministrations.
Such a disgraceful suggestion those puppies and sheep will feel totally insulted . They can do way better than a grumpy old sod like me. I thought Lyn was coming to keep us in check.
Confirmed for the event few weeks back but only just discovered this thread so thought I would drop by and say hello.
I'm booked in for camping on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, all being well will be riding up to arrive Thursday afternoon.
Will do my best to bring fire log but will have to be subject to space as given the time of year I'm bringing the big sleeping bag and it kinda huge. Will figure it out.
