on this day - 1962 - Marilyn Monroe was found dead in her home. The "probable suicide" was caused by an overdose of sleeping pills. Monroe was 36 at the time of her death.<!ows> 1969 - The Mariner 7, a U.S. space probe, passed by Mars. Photographs and scientific data were sent back to Earth. 1974 - U.S. President Nixon said that he expected to be impeached. Sorry Blitz - don't know the bike - I was minus 2 back then! P'haps a prototype Virago? 1945 - Atom Bomb dropped on Hiroshima. 1957 - Andy Capp makes his debut. 1972 - Moody Blues release "Nights in White Satin".

did not happen today but just thought it my intrest someone but i pass my CBT the day that Evel Knievel passe away. spooky or what ha ha i know one thing for certan i wont be try any of his stunts anytime (if at all) soon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evel_Knievel found a good about of info about him on wikipedia. do remember him when i was a child growing up had a playset too. think i might still have it stash somewhere in the loft.
