Wannabe I hope the weather is kind to you for the weekend.
on the 1st I'll be moving into my new home and on the 2nd I'll be having a mental breakdown cos I probably won't be able to find anything.
Best of luck with the move and treat it as a game when the box that you could've SWORN contained the kettle throws up nothing but a load of bedding ;o) Good way to find out where the nearest cafe is, when you're desperate for a cuppa and the hot water tap just isn't doing it for you! lol
Doesn't matter how carefully you label everything, the New Home Goblins sneak in and change all the labels!
*sarcasm mode: ON*
Yeah, there's a thing called a weather forecast. Tells you what's going to happen, and sometimes it's even a little bit truthful.
*sarcasm mode: OFF*
All hell got let loose about 4am. Crash bang wallop...storm straight out of the old testament, Cecil B de Mille style. I was expecting Moses to pronounce a prophesy amid the deluge.
Kwak I know how you feel. The contents of the kitchen are boxed up while the fitters are in (courtesy of my late mother in law) and I'm not going to unpack the lot just to find a wandering teaspoon. Not never nohow.
*tuts @ sarcastic mode*
That's all very well... but you have to actually react to said weather forecast... not sit there saying "Hmmmm... I really ought to bring the washing in" like what I does ;o)
Quite a storm,QUITE A BLOODY STORM? Kept me awake till 1am,phone rang at 2am,call-out to clear up flooded road in Sevenoaks. Get there, rain stopped,no flood cos waters gone away. Turn tanker round and go home. In bed at at 5am,alarm goes off at 6am so i gotta go to work. They didn't forcast that.
Aww bless you Ric, me being a tea-aholic I sympathise with you not getting any tea. I thought Sevenoaks was oneoak after the last storm to hit there?
I notice your mouse/cursor has *onion-itis like mine does some times. *keeps repeating on you
Wannabe, I won't ever lose the kettle, it's always on the boil. I was thinking of investing in a tea urn cos I keep wearing out the kettles.
