Stingray yeah oh Marine Boy cool Spyder remember the screen going off at the end of the night when the TV was switched off I used to sit and watch it disappear lol!!! I was always allowed to stay up and watch 'Tales from the Crypt' and such like with my Dad cos my Mum didn't like them

T'was Trumpton DS,yeah Windy Miller. Could never work out why he wore a dress then. Camberwick Green had the box at the beginning and we always tried to guess who was in it.

Ok, it looks like i need to get something straight, right here, right now. At no point, at no time, did i, or have i, EVER had tassles on ANYTHING i've ever ridden, ever, PERIOD. Now as to relieving a few of said items, many moons ago, well, all i can say is i'm innocent till proven guilty! Take it that clears that little misunderstanding up good n proper Ricdude, me old mucker!!

oh yes i remember, the musical box that opened up. i remember watching "Watch" and "Words and Pictures" which was usually on afterwards. does anyone remember "Bod"???

Ok Arf,i take it you have at no time nor intend to have aforementioned tassles. Only if your sure though mate. Haha. Ah yes,Bod. A skirt wearing twat if i remember,but wasn't it from the '80's? Surely that wouldn't be allowed in the '70's.

Yeah Mazza, I remember the dot at the end of the night, also the test page on BBC, I remeber when BBC2 came out and the next big thing was when the test page became colour !! WOW Didn't watch tales from the crypt but did watch the twighlight zone, it was the way it started like looking through a convext mirror, used to freak me out.... de da da dit da da BOD............ No to young for that :) BTW, these are all memories of my dad, I'm really only 25 Honest

he did have a funny skirt thing... i loved the green frog and the orchestra at the end, he drank a milkshake and you had to guess the flavour as he slurped it!! lol

All i can remember was that he gobbed on the inside of the tv. Bring back Mr. Benn and his shopkeeper friend. Looking back on it,it was a bit trippy.

Bowie,s Ziggy Stardust Marc Bolan & T-Rex...going through my old 7" singles a few years ago my daughter asked what they were..couldn,t understand how they played..didn,t fit in C.D player!! Harrington Jackets..Two Tone trousers Oxford Brogues..Ben Sherman shirt,s..Northern Soul..(yeah I was a bit of a mod in my early teens!!)even had a Parkah wiv fur round the hood...those were the days my friends!!(Mary Hopkins wasn,t it)Hughie Green-Opportunity Knocks..and I mean that sincerely folks!..love threads like this Good Un Spyder..plank o wood 2 pram axles piece o rope for steering(eat your heart out Lewis Hamilton)..did everywhere have a Bluebell Woods complete with an assortment of tree swings? plenty of red rec,s where we had real Bonfires (not always on 5th Nov either) front doors always wide open in summer..never worried about burglars..MEMORIES

My ex's daughter couldn't get her head round the fact that you had to get up and push a button to change tv channel and at the most only had 3 channels. Also couldn't imagine using a phone box all the time.

Bonfires...lol, I remember all the kids from my childrens home and the lads very local to us used to have fights over bonfires with all the other kids in the area, always used to be 2 fires on this massive waist ground, and we would raid each others wood, some of the scraps were mad when I look back..... We had a few do gooders visit the childrens home and they bought me a parker coat with the fur, More pockets, zips, laces and popers than I'd ever seen, first ever new coat for me, nick named it my little house, pmsl

Possibly the same thing. I think the firm that made them were called Blakey hence the name. Different areas have their own names sometimes.
