Which way are you thinking of going to Tan Hill, Kenn? I guess you'll all be coming up from the South, however we'll be coming from the other direction. We can always meet up at whatever time you lot get there, or we could arrange to meet en-route and ride with you. Let us know. Let us know if you want to meet up CW and ride through.

Hi Blueboy & cw1066, OGB hudds im leeds Julie harrogate Fastjock ripon, so was planning to go via skipton bypass turn left up to kettlewell, up to haws, so could meet the northern contingent up at aysgarth or haws. any think goes really what ever everybody is happy with.

Hi geoff, a59. skipton by pass, turn right up to kettlewell, through coverdale to aysgarth turn right to haws. then kirby stephens, or through the back of haws. Its not a big millage but a good run on some fantastic roads.

so have heard that this is a bit of a tricky route for a beginner and now im having my doubts, can anyone make a comparison between tanhill route and up and down greenhow hill, some of you yorkie puds will know where i mean

if you done green how bank you'll be ok with tan hill. and thats only the last bit up to the inn. you'll be fine, and there should be quite a few of us to make sure your looked after and ok.

Been up there today. Just back. The back road across from Hawes is ace fun. You just need to do it at your own pace though. Amazing scenery is a perfect excuse not to tank it; but I did anyway. Still grinning like a Cheshire cat

I really wanna come on this one - however I don't know yet if I'm gonna have to work that weekend!!! (don't usually work weekends, but this is a big 'go live' weekend!!) Anyway, if I can come I'm sure NOT coming up on me own 'ickle babes!!...so I'll be looking for a pilly **cute smiley**
