some people dont know what they want......but lets not let this thread get out of hand or turn into a arguement, i think members should just be honest on there profile what they want, distance can be a problem but if your serious about someone then nothing will stop the relationship
No one is remotely arguing Ian! Well... I ain't... I thought it was all good natured bantering?
I know what I want:
My independance when it suits ME (lol)
A man when I need him
(joking!).... I do miss the closeness and comfort of a blokie around.
well,from my perspective lol
I joined this site after reading it for a while and wanted to get to know some of the nutters on here,I have had guts ache after laughing so much sometimes! The nods? Well i tend to look upon them as a sort of hello,a bit like on the road..you nod, sometimes you get a nod back, sometimes you dont.
I've been single for quite a while and was very happy to be so,I had a couple of friends "with benefits" so to speak and that arrangement suited all parties just fine,I wasnt looking or really indeed want to get involved in a serious relationship BUT you just never know what will happen when you least expect it.
I have met someone, through this site as it happens, and the magic was there right from the start,it seems like we have known each other for years! She lives in North Wales and I'm here in Slough (a distance of 210 miles)but it just so happens she was moving down this way before we met so before long we will be closer together which will make it easier and the plan is (after certain things that I wont go into here have been sorted out)we will move in together, get married, ride off into the sunset and live happily ever after yadda yadda yadda.
Now if that can happen to a cynical old git like me,it can happen to anyone!
god on you pond, my story is very similar to yours....except the lass I have met is over 400 miles away...but it aint stopped us and I am flying down at least once a month to see her.....And I have to agree with cissy star a wink is much more suggestive mind you Kwak is also right when she said that a pm is probably a better way to explain your intent and I think its a nice thing to recieve from a stranger cause it takes a lot of balls to do.still I believe that you get out what you put in and i do love all this banter and chit chat. I have never met so much nice people...just a shame Im bloody miles away
Nanu tip my hat to you for making a go of it, people can be put off by distance but both sorts of relationships those were you live round the corner from each other and those were you live miles apart have advantages and disadvantages. if it feels right go for it thats what i say. If it doesnt work at least you can say you tried. Well thats my opinion anyway and i dont expect everyone to agree with it
Cissy i'll PM you the answer to whether serious or not lol
No PM...and I rushed back from rehearsals special like!
I had a "friend with benefits" PL... lived just round the corner and is in fact the ONLY other biker in my village lolol...
I like nods....Im with dunans? on this one...u nod at other bikers ITS a lovely thing to do...real comaradery (spelling???)on the road......
Always nod at the funny profile descriptions //women/and Welsh Bikers....
Pm if profiles make me laugh,,just to say thanx for laugh!
To all the bikers out there! and and
On the way to bikerchick's, in Derby, as pillion, I nodded my bloody head off and only one person nodded back and he wasn't on a bike
When I used to ride my own bike folk nodded back all the time, wassup aint a pillion's nod good enough?
