True... Especially when you think about poor Shannon Matthews... but then again... here, some nosy neighbour would've put a complaint into the council and the balloon would've been destroyed before it even got filled with helium on some obscure interpretation of planning regs

If it turns out the parents knew all about it & it wasn't kids messing about & being worried about getting into trouble for a prank that went to far, then the parents should pay the bill & be charged with wasting police time & anything else that the law can come up with. I just hope that no one suffered because the services were tied up on the stupidity of this family.

Nah SV they will be roping the cash in now by press etc wanting to buy the story, Hollywood making a best seller and of course all those tee shirts and mugs thats gonna be produced. What Logo would they put on the tee shirts and mugs though? Instead of Around the world in 80 days it would read I Tricked the world in 80 minutes? LOL
