If I get enough definiteswhen I post this on events, I shall secure the booking myself then ask to be re-imbursed - a risk, I know, but the barn will only capacity book with a one off payment, so everyone paying direct is not an option unfortunately.

Only those camping can pay direct on the w/end.

All I need is 12 peeps for the barn though folks!

Cheers
Di

No babysitter Nuts?? lol

Rossi, no need to take a risk, let peeps pay you up front straight into your bank if you have a current account

Don't risk it - never mind "definites" - only book it when you've seen the colour of their money!

I dread to think how many hundreds I've lost over the years through pre-booking and paying for stuff in advance for others who "promised" to pay me back

I'll still do it for real life mates on occasion, but for virtual strangers on a website? No thanks!

this barn gets booked pretty quickly rusty - so will have to secure sharpish before people really know if they can come - just a thought, but, if we only fill to 8 and want to keep the barn to ourselves, how would peeps feel about paying the difference?

Otherwise, we may have to share it with others.

Not there yet though, I'm sure we'll find 12 willing members!! lol

Think I 'd prefer cheques - thanks for the idea rusty, but giving out my bank details to the public domain doesn't sound like a good idea to me!!

We'll figure it out, no doubt.

Good luck nuts - hope he will swap

rossi, people give out their bank details every day, it's perfectly safe. I'd rather give out my bank details than my home address to strangers!

I don't mind paying extra to keep the barn if you don't get 12 together but I reckon you will .

No deposit - only full sum to secure the barn to ourselves.

If you were booking for less than full capacity, you could pay a deposit then, but not for taking it over completely.

That's what the guy said today anyway.

Ho hum!

I'm another definite, rather than posting your bank details you could just PM the definites with the account name, sort code and account number, its still a risk but it would be the easiest way for us to pay you, and you would know who you've given the details to if there was any problem it would be easy to trace the culprit.

I think we're nearly there Lime but as my brain cell will only count to two........ Question 1: Do you need paypal yourself to pay into a Paypal account, if so thats a non starter for me, I don't have one.......... Question 2: Wife, wife ?!!?* *faints in shock* when did you begin your life sentence...?I mean, happy union fella ?

Just a thought Rossi, if you do want payment by cheque then I'd suggest you do the same and pm the deffo's with your address rather than posting it for the world to see. Nut i'm sure you do need a paypal account to make payments into one, and I think they may charge a fee for doing it too. Cheque or direct transfer would seem the easiest way
