karey,,,think the campsite you are on about is the one where i stayed first time at matlock,,,,recommended by cj,,,who turned up along with phil......it was only about £4 per night?? and not that it would interest any peeps from here but it is a field in PUB grounds,,,good food as well.....only 5 mins ride from meet.

Haven't stayed there for a while but sat nights usually had some form of music just pub singer stuff not bands. But food was good.
I think they are limited to how many they could take.camping is in field behind pub. Just a field with no hook up. washing and toilet are in pub but acces availlable during night to toilet. Great for getting down to Bm meet early at the cafe.
Well anyone who has been on Biker Match long enough will know I'm always in need of a pillion, so 'yes please'
BTW Jackie, do pillions have to be 'special'? I'm not sure I wanna change my sexuality just for a ride out
I don't mind carrying a pilly.
Couldn't do camping equipment as well though (No top box or throwovers for the Trident and don't know how long I am keeping it for so am not investing)
Going to Portugal on the bike (hooray!!) July 10th until 27th and will not have much contact during that time as not taking a phone, so only possibility of communication is finding a cyber cafe.

I think the idea rattay is that we go up possibly friday evening and do a rideout saturday, BM meet in MB on Sunday. so wouldn't be carring gear and pillion at same time.

Count me out if it's an overniter, I can't do overniters.
