I promote BM as a social site when i am talking to folk about it, and if you meet someone on the way then its a bonus :) Seems to be whatever you need it to be in your life at that given time. I have found masses of great friends and some for life mates thanks to BM and even JP !!!!!!

For my two pence worth....as others have said it is what you make of it. I for one have found the site to be really friendly and I have been quite happy to get some fun poked at me as well as some good advice given. I first joined the site so my wife and I might meet some local(ish) bikers to meet and ride out with, that wasn't to be as she sadly passed away. I decided to pay my dues and join properly in the hope that I might make some new friends. I believe that's now beginning to happen. I have met another member local to me and we had a great ride out and a brew (nothing more). In the future I may find someone to start a relationship with....who knows. As Geordielass says, you find good and bad folk everywhere. Truth is I've only found the good so far. So thank you BM and keep up the good work.

Something I would like BM to be used for is; trading skills and putting work the way of other BM members. e.g. I have 6 interior doors hanging and it would give me more satisfaction to pay a BM member for doing this than having to trawl through the net for someone. Hope this makes sense....it does to me

BM for me started as a social site to meet people have a laugh and a joke go to meets etc. . . . . And I got that by the bucket load have made some really good friends.

Then without even looking I have met the most wonderful woman and can't imagine bein without her now. Must be love cos I'm movin north to be with her. lol

I was introduced to the site AFTER finding someone (BikeDoc) and use it purely for social events and meeting people. Intend to use it more next year for rallies etc now that I've got used to my bike - certainly once I've learned how to pack a tent on the bike...lol

Everyone I have met off the site has been great - look forward to meeting more of you....
