Got a room booked at the Elm's court hotel two doors down from the LA Bowl. Not far to stagger and no taxi fares to worry about

Woohooooo Sharky and Loon - great your coming along as well. The £11.00 is a special deal with one course and 2 games of bowls, no puddings Loon sorry. Think it is quite basic to be honest. Had a thought, the Elms court where Sharky is booked into is lovely I could check out the menu there, what does everyone think?. Depending when folk are arriving we could maybe meet for a wee ride out on the Saturday afternoon if anyone fancies it?

250 miles and 3.5 hrs for me. Leaving about 10am and checking in around 2pm (earliest I can), so gives me several hours to play with. Not been to Ayr for 3 or 4 years now, but I don't think it will have changed much. So a wee run out would be good
