Looking forward to our little North Wales ride out Podnil is 6ft 3 anyone have a pilly seat that would fit him????????????? Karl can you give us an idea of approx total miles ta
Vege food at mine if anyone doesnt mind linda mcartney sausages etc mind you the route may need adapting to fit in as im Denbigh which is either near the begining or the end
Okay, approx miles, 122 give or take a foot, now, to drop in to Denbigh from the A494 going onto the A525 then jumping on the A543 to Pentrefoelas and onto A5 to Druid. We are then back on track. Add a further 38 miles to journey, which is no problem, chances are it will add to the ride. But, Linda McCartney sausages. C,mon.
I know its gone quiet!!!!!!!!!!!! I really cant commit 100% in case gradson arrives early...............but will be there if he doesnt.....whats happening to the rest of you guys???????? maybe its because there are other events going on???? no worries
I think folks as its all gone very quiet we should shelve this for now but its a definate for when weather and folks can get together. We are in need of more rideouts etc this neck of the woods so if anyone knows of any in the coming months let us all know
When everyone is ready, let's sort it. We are spoilt by our surroundings, bikes sitting idle, doing 100 miles per week, using 10% of their capability. It's a crime. People ride 100 miles to get what we have on our doorstep.
I so agree with you Karl. I couldnt resisit going out today even though i was on my own. It is such a brilliant day and the vale looks so gorgeous. so headed off for a quick hours blast round the vale of clwyd. Off to hospital soon to see grandson who arrived a bit early and bit small last Saturday.
We have to arrange regular Wales ride outs in the spring or if the forcast suggests a day like today
I'm not far from the A5, Shrewsbury. Once I've got licence and bike sorted, that last bit depends on funding..., I'll be glad to join up at some point.
Will do Noddy ... I bet we can arrange a few ridouts this end once the weather is better Be good to go out with all you guys around the great roads we have round here
Hey Wills how about this route that karl suggested
"all meet at Shell station, Mold. Stay on A494 Ruthin to Corwen, going through Bala onto Dolgellau then heading north on A470 going through Trawsfynydd onto Betws-y-Coed. Stop for chat and drinks. Join A5 to Corwen and back up A494 to Mold. Quality"
Anyone wishing to meet at mine in Warrington would be welcome
Not sure the old trike will keep up on the twisty roads but that just means that with some luck someone will have got me in a brew by the time I arrive at Betws-y-Coed :)
