Todays request show is going to be a bit different. Stacey was born the day Mark Bolan died (within an hour of his death too) and therefore the first hour is for her and then im doing another 2 hours but just 70's songs as a tribute to Mr Bolan.
Get some requests in and I will add them. All the best 70's songs.
Good choices guys, will put them in the list. Hope you are enjoying the music from your youth, where as BJ, you would have been in your 30's wouldnt u?

Has none of original member. don't know how they get away with calling themselves Dr Feelgood. Not as good after wilco left. Have you seen Oil city confidential? should still be available on i-player. great documentary of the band.

Got it on order with HMV BB, seen it a couple of times on BBC4.
It's one of those things that's always going to-be debated isn't it?
Sure there's none of the very original members, but with the exception of the singer they're all Feelgoods and you only have to see/listen to them to realise they are Feelgood IMO.
Mud Mucka! So who's going to own up to having Tiger Feet slippers then?
My mother had them and i always wore them to that song every sat night. I was only born in 76 so i was very young when all this stuff was out remember!
Its ashame I missed the majority but TBH the 70's is still going today! Its been a very busy show today. So many suggestions on so many amazing 70's songs. I think I will be introducing a 70's show once a week by the looks of things! What you think?
