Only had gale force winds and horizontal rain to deal with on the ride home tonight.

Clearly I faired better than the lorries that had parked up a bit further south down the A1 because of the wind - and then got blown over onto the road! Oops!

Still alive , still at home upstairs, still no electricity.
local church providing meals, and s hot cuppa.
waiting for the insurance guy. Fri afternoon.
trying to find cat friendly accommodation, the Pud is quite chilled out it's his second flooding too. Still can't let the Pud out , too many rats crawling over the rubbish.
Hopefully we'll find somewhere for Xmas xx

Been offered The Fisherman's Lodge at Lonsdale Holiday park.
It's a Lakeside park home at a fishing lake.
I hope the Pud doesn't try stealing the anglers' fish.
Embarrassing getting evicted.
moving in next week hopefully.
see you all soon x

Just been out for a run on the bikes with Madscots down the east coast - managed to avoid the worst of the rain, pretty windy though...
