When did you here about the coast road TM.
They wont be happy till every road has double white lines and a thirty limit.
Have you been round by letterbox cottage its lkie a race track everyone sprinting between the single lane bits so much for road safty and trafic calming its worse than ever.

theve made it 40mph to Portesham already think the coast rd is to follow!![it really doesnt need it!!] bloody annoyin, i know of one biker been killed on this rd[an he was really goin to fast!!] but should have been 50 not 40 cos people in cars get frustrated an take more chances in a slow queue on a long straight rd like that which is bad news for bikers!
Tiz zactly the same problem riding over Dartmoor, lots of good roads and the speed limit's 40! I know there's sheep & ponys about, but most places you can see where they are.
Was just going to let you lot Know that the coast road has a tempory surface on it between portersham and abbotsbury.
Biker came off this week said it was like riding on marbles. council have admitted the surface is in a bad state but didnt want to inconvinience holiday makers so threw a load of gravel down till the winter.
so take it easy or get a crosser
