I think were all gonna need to bring a shovel. 
I always take mine. I find it easy to dig myself a hole. where ever i go.

Old Fart (not being offensive I hope you realise!!!!) me things you are right............................but I might bring me bucket and spade with me anyway!!!! It's the effects of being the furthest away from the coastline. Mmmm, where's me bucket - nephews seem to have nicked it :)

If you want to build a new Coventry you'll need some concrete. Lots and lots of grey concrete. And a few burnt out cars to finish it off.I've got my fold-up spade ready to take, I plan on building a sandcastle to rival the ones built by Edward Longshanks (that's the guy you meant Yama).

high tide on friday evening is 20:30 so no point in makin it Friday. Sat morning is 09:00. by the time were all awake and walked down there, it'll be close to first lunch. i can't be diggin with a rumbling tummy.

Where did you find tide tables for that far ahead? I looked but could only find up to June 15th.
If we get there early enough on Friday we'll have all afternoon to build our sandcastles. If I've done my sums right then the tide will be fully out at about 14:15. Not sure we're going to get much time between meals on Saturday. JP will want at least two breakfasts, and if blues wants first and second lunch too we're going to have trouble fitting anything else in.

Tables are on the Shell island web site under Tide times gary. Couldn't leave it too late saturday if were havin a ride out. But a few might not be there till the evening Friday. Oh, why is life so complicated.
