Ok guys, its snowing here at mo and the bike doesn't want to start (shes getting a bit old now lol) so thinking about still coming down to meet you but in the car :-)
It was nice to meet you Angel, hope to see you at another meeting.
It was good to get into double digits again and in February, just think what we can do in the summer, we could take over the world maybe.
Roll on a week Friday for Canterbury Tales!
It was another great evening, conversation flowed and food was great value too.
Great to see another new face at the meeting too.We have a lot of stuff planned for the summer and are goina have a lot of fun.....
Well done all those who made the effort to come to a meeting on a dark, cold wet Feb evening. Proper bikers not Southern Softies lol.
(use of cars in adverse conditions sensible option and its the being there that matters).
Andy & Sarah
some of us are proper southern softies, bloody cars. Good to catch everyone again. Where is everyone staying at canterbury? Am thinking of camping, oh no sorry, motel for the night and getting slightly inebriated.
astray? i've been positively awol coz of you lot. a bad influence you are indeed, i was such an innocent person beforehand. i used to help old ladies cross the road, wash the car on sunday mornings and take the dog for a walk sunday afternoons. bake cakes for the village fete, mow my neighbours lawn. and now i just.......enjoy myself, oh and i don't have a car or a dog.
ok room booked. but it's a long walk from the town centre to the canterbury dunkirk travelodge, it says 5 miles on their website, that must be at least 8 miles staggering.
oh an update for 21st March curry n pint eve.
For those who were listening at the Dog n Gun I mentioned we going to the Pheasant for pint n a curry, looks like a change of venue to Weatherspoons in Ashford Town Centre as Marstons (Pheasant) stopped doing Curry Night last week!
Weatherspoons charge £5.75 for curry n a pint so exceptional value.
Tried it out last night in the interests of you all and its fine..
