Now that made me LOL BB. About a year ago I wanted to go on a rally, after 5 years of having my licence revoked (M'cycle racing.) I had only managed to progress as far as a car, with the bike still to come.

According to you I deserved no sympathy (Even though I didn't ask for it, just a bit of understanding and I made that clear at the time.)
and should turn up on a bike!

Just erupted with a stinking head cold got ten days to clear it proper. From what I can see temperature will be what you folks above the midlands are used to but 3/5 degrees lower than here in London area, this being the favoured land.lol

Could have this wrong ltgr but this is a weeks camping not a rally there are a lot of rallys that don't allow cars or vans

BB wasn't the organiser jp. The organiser invited me for a response BB was making up his own "rules".
Cars were allowed under special circumstances.

lets get this right LTGTR you were moaning about not being able to take a car in to the Welcome Back Rally because the organisers had said no cars on the field although they had said you could park at the pub, but you than said that you did't have a tent anyway, your right i called you quite a few names and i still stand by them, i think you were just moaning for the sake of it, can you tell us which BM events or meetings you have been to in the last year at this end of the country? i dont think there has been any and i dont think you had any intention of going to the rally and your now moaning about it again, why dont you just button it.
But if you want to come to my Cornwall meeting i will make you more than welcome there is no rules you can come in a car, van bus, train, boat or walk, you can sleep in your car, van or even a cardboard box, you can bring your kids, dog, cat, rabbit, hamster [and we all know what there used for] or even a pet snake if you have one, i only ask that you abide by the rules of the site, you can come for 1 day or 8 days so why don't you come along and then we can get to know you

No BB I wasn't moaning and if that's what you think you're very much mistaken, so stop putting words in my mouth.
Also I didn't say I didn't have a tent, I said all my camping gear was race orientated and too large to carry on a bike even if I could ride, I certainly wasn't buying another set of equipment for something I might never be able to use and as far as you were concerned that excluded me from any rallies.
That's fine I know where I stand.

I don't wish to get involved in a discussion with you, you're already coming out with a lot of untruths so I'll let it drop.

"you can come in a car, van bus, train, boat or walk, you can sleep in your car, van or even a cardboard box, you can bring your kids, dog, cat, rabbit, hamster or even a pet snake" Bit restrictive don't you think Bill? Come on with rules like that nobody will be able to make it! I was gonna fly over, am I now excluded from this event?

Matt @ 25/05/2011 15:54

You're excluded because you're too young and we'd slaughter you!

JP @ 25/05/2011 17:18

That's this one Matt, which isn't a rally as has been pointed out.
If I want to-go to a rally it appears very few, if any concessions will-be made.
ie until I'm in a position to abide by the "rules" no rallies.
As I said, I know where I stand.
