Just to let everyone know, I will be booking the Carvery for Saturday December 14th, this coming Monday the 21st October, for the members who have put there names on the events calendar.
There is however some degree of flexibility with the booking if we get any late comers who want to join us.
Andy and myself thought arrive at 6.00 pm so that we can all make merry in the bar for a while, then sit down to eat at 7.00 pm. I hope these times are okay with everyone.
WOW! Great to see the numbers growing for this, it'll be a good night i think
crato, your more than welcome to join us, be good to see you again. Dave will be booking this tomorrow (Monday 21st) and he has kindly said he will cover deposits and collect from you on the night.
If anyone else is interested in joining us, please let Dave or me know so that we know the total number of heads to account for. If the weather is kind to us on this date then we could ride in, then anyone staying at the Travelodge for the night we could have a ride out for breakfast somewhere on Sunday morning. If it's not kind to us then we could drive in, still have breakfast somewhere though
Thought i would do a catch up with you all. I will break my journey on Friday and stop at Braintree Essex, was thinking car as time of year and distance. DaveVM is it right you will pay my deposit until i get there please? booked travel lodge whoop excited... Hoping to see some coming this way to Hallowistmas brum party 23 November.
The Carvery is now booked for 18 people on 14th December, to sit down and eat at 7.00pm, this will give us time (6.00pm arrival) to lurk in the bar and sample the drinks various on offer .
The above figure of 18 includes Colins wife Julie .
If anyone else would like to come along, would you let either myself or AndySimmo know please so that we can alter the booking.
